Costa Rica~ Dia final, Adious!
“It’s Crazy how taking yourself out of your life can sometimes help you find a better place in your life…” [J. Reading]
Well it’s my last night in Costa Rica. Sigh. What an amazing time I’ve had. I’ve never seen so much beauty & natural greens & colors popping out everywhere. Even in Panama things were not this bright & green & lush. Amazing. Although I have somewhat failed in the blogging world & in sharing stories about my trip, I can attest it has been pure bliss. From hiking the waterfalls, seeing animals, petting exotic cats & toucans, relaxing at the hot springs, experiencing multiple types of yoga, taking photos, listening to the rain, reading in hammocks, breathing the fresh air, living in altitude, getting the best massage of my life, eating the healthiest food for 7 days & pigging out on veggies, being wet or damp, awakening at the spa, swimming in the rain, seeing the coffee fields, & conversing with some genuine people….the past week has flew by.
I wont digress & I’m sorry but I’ve been too into myself & busy enjoying “kali time” then to write up elaborate summaries about my time here or Costa Rica life. What I can say, is this place is everything and more than I imagined. I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful place, met a great group of people, & the privileged of getting a week off work to come. I hope to explore the pacific/ coastal side of Costa Rica in the future, maybe even but property. This country is so simple, green, and great, it’s like nothing I’ve experienced before.
I’m ending my Yoga & peaceful journey tonight with another amazing dinner full of Pineapple (my favorite) salad, veggie soup, & a nice glass of Malbec wine. Then, I will join my new friends from Naples, Florida (who are here on a 3 week yoga retreat) for some “healing”. Should be interesting. I did Kudalini yoga for the first time with them today & it was so enjoyable. I’m so happy i’ve been educated here about the “yogi” lifestyle & can delve deeper and become more educated about the world of Yoga, which I never knew existed. I love Costa Rica & will be back. PURA VIDA.
Here are some photos from other parts of my Journey & week [zip lining (aka Canopy ride in the cloud forest), Hot Springs, Rain Forest, etc]
